Sir Uti Comments on BBNaija Disqualification Incident

Nigerian media personality and former reality TV star, Uti Nwachukwu, popularly known as Sir Uti, has shared his perspective on the recent disqualification of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 10 housemate, Faith.

Faith was disqualified following an altercation with fellow contestant, Sultana, during a task in the house.

Reacting to the incident, Sir Uti took to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle to address what he described as a “narcissistic” tendency to label the instigator of a conflict as a victim while branding the person who reacts as an abuser.

He emphasized that both parties involved could have handled the situation better and highlighted the importance of understanding the dynamics of conflict.

In his post, Sir Uti stated, “Could she have acted better – YES! Could he have handled it better? YES! A trigger is just as grave as a reaction. It is incredibly narcissistic to label the one who triggered/created/fueled the situation a VICTIM and then label the one who reacted (without hitting the other) – an Abuser.”

While making it clear that he was not defending Faith, Sir Uti emphasized that the incident serves as a learning point, particularly for young adults, stressing the importance of responding appropriately when provoked.

He concluded by urging viewers to learn from the situation and move beyond sentiments, stating, “This is not defending anyone.
