Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has stirred the pot once again, this time taking aim at music heavyweight Olamide over a perceived slight.
The streethop star expressed his frustration with the veteran rapper for not inviting him to Olamide’s recent sold-out London concert.
In a candid chat with a media personality, Portable didn’t hold back, asserting that his hit track Zazoo, which featured Olamide, was the very song that brought the superstar international recognition at a time when he claims the veteran had been forgotten by the global audience.
“Zazoo made people remember you internationally,” Portable declared. “Davido loves me; Davido is proud of me. I can eventually win a Grammy and become a Nigerian hero.”
The Zazoo collaboration, widely regarded as Portable’s breakout song, marked a major milestone in his career. But according to him, instead of celebrating his contribution, Olamide sidelined him for the London show, leaving Portable feeling overlooked.
Despite the snub, Portable remained confident about his future, insisting that global recognition and accolades are within his reach.
He also emphasized that even if Olamide doesn’t appreciate his impact, others—including industry heavyweights like Davido—do.
