Former presidential candidate Peter Obi has clarified that he has never met former U.S. President Donald Trump or MC Oluomo, refuting viral images that suggested otherwise.
Obi addressed the issue in a statement shared on his social media platforms on Tuesday, September 24, 2025. He said the photos circulating online were doctored and aimed at creating false narratives.
He called on the public and media to verify the authenticity of images before accepting them as truth, warning against the spread of misinformation in politically charged environments.
