Nigerian rapper and music executive Olamide has described his friends Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy as “troublesome,” while emphasising that their friendship remains intact despite creative differences.
Speaking on Adesope Live, Olamide said the trio are “cool dudes” but acknowledged they don’t always align on many things — a reality he views as part of being friends. “Sometimes many can’t align on so many things, and that’s fine,” he added.
He also addressed the ongoing debate about being part of Afrobeats’ “Big 3” — a ranking often associated with Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy.

Olamide said being left out does not bother him, stressing that his focus remains on making music that resonates with fans rather than chasing labels or rankings.
