Nigerian billionaire and politician, Ned Nwoko, has addressed the controversy surrounding a recently shared video by his wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels. The video, which captured Nwoko in a private bathroom moment, has sparked widespread criticism online.

The video was accompanied by a trending TikTok audio clip from a vintage Nollywood film, which many viewers found derogatory. Regina captioned the post, teasing about creating content to annoy her “oga at the top,” referring to Nwoko.
The video quickly went viral, drawing mixed reactions from the public. While some found the content humorous, others criticized Regina for invading her husband’s privacy and using the footage in a mocking context.
In response to the backlash, Ned Nwoko took to social media to address the issue. He expressed understanding of the public’s reaction but emphasized that Regina’s actions were intended as playful and not meant to be taken seriously.

“I understand the concerns raised by the public regarding the video. However, it was a lighthearted moment between my wife and me. We share a close relationship, and such playful interactions are part of our bond,” Nwoko stated.
He further urged the public to respect their privacy and not to jump to conclusions based on a single video.
Regina Daniels has not issued a public statement following her husband’s response.
