Afrobeats artist Young Jonn has opened up about his current stance on relationships, revealing that he is not ready to commit to a serious partnership at this time.
In a candid interview on the ‘Way Up’ podcast with Angela Yee, the 30-year-old singer and producer explained that his focus on his music career leaves little room for the emotional investment required in a serious relationship.
“Everybody loves love. I mean, love is wonderful. But, I’m not really in that space where I can give so much of me to one person,” he shared. “So, I’m just keeping it platonic with everybody.”
Young Jonn emphasized that he does not want to enter a serious relationship only to disappoint someone due to his inability to fully commit. He added: “I don’t want a serious relationship right now because I feel like I won’t be able to give that person as much as I’m supposed to. So why put them in that situation?”
