Renowned Nigerian music producer and Mavin Records CEO, Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has declared that his former signee Wande Coal possesses the best vocals in the Nigerian music industry.
During an interactive session with fans on 𝕏 (formerly Twitter), a fan praised Don Jazzy’s voice, describing it as the “best and most unique in the music industry.”
Responding to the compliment, the veteran hitmaker modestly agreed about his voice’s uniqueness but gave full credit to Wande Coal for having the best vocals overall.
“Most unique I agree, best na Wande [Coal],” Don Jazzy wrote.
Wande Coal, who rose to fame under Don Jazzy’s Mo’ Hits Records, is widely celebrated for his rich, soulful tone and vocal dexterity.
Over the years, he has earned respect from top Afrobeats stars like Wizkid, Fireboy DML, and Oxlade, who have all cited him as a major influence in their careers.

In a separate interview with YouTuber Habby Forex, Don Jazzy shared insights on financial discipline and responsible living, revealing that he has no desire to buy a private jet, despite having the resources to afford one.
According to the Mavin boss, his focus remains on investments and long-term growth rather than luxury purchases.
“I can afford it, but I won’t buy a private jet,” he said. “It’s better to invest — whether in yourself, in knowledge, or in opportunities that create lasting value.”
