Nigerian superstar Damini Ogulu, famously known as Burna Boy, made headlines during his concert in Denver, United States, on Wednesday night after asking a couple to leave for allegedly dozing off mid-performance.
According to reports, the Grammy-winning artist noticed the pair in the front row during his set and halted the show to address the situation. In front of the crowd, Burna Boy instructed the man to escort his girlfriend out of the venue.
Although the couple initially resisted, the audience quickly encouraged them to leave. With the distraction gone, Burna Boy resumed his performance, telling the crowd:
“When I stand up here and see you over there with your girl sleeping in the front of me, it pisses me the f**k up. So, please, take her the f**k home… Walahi I’m not performing another song till you go home.”
This isn’t the first time Burna Boy has shown zero tolerance for inattentive concertgoers. He previously asked a fan to leave for rushing the stage and hugging him, and another for refusing to dance during a performance.
