Jarvis Confirms Breakup With Peller, Appeals for Support After Crash
Popular TikTok creator Elizabeth Amadou, widely known as Jarvis, has confirmed that she is no longer in a relationship with fellow influencer and livestreamer Hamzat Habeeb, popularly called Peller.
She has also appealed to social media users to stop ridiculing him following his recent car accident, which occurred during a live broadcast.
Jarvis made the clarification during a live video on Tuesday, as reactions continued to trail Peller’s hospitalisation after the crash on the Lekki–Epe Expressway in Lagos. She expressed concern that online mockery and speculation were worsening an already distressing situation.
According to her, the focus of public attention should not be on blame or ridicule. She urged people to show empathy, stressing that Peller should not be judged or defined by the incident.
Jarvis explained that Peller’s struggles stem largely from emotional instability rather than bad intentions. While noting that she is better able to manage her emotions, she said Peller finds it more difficult and needs support rather than criticism.
Confirming the end of their relationship, Jarvis said the decision was painful but necessary. She emphasised that the breakup should not be interpreted as abandonment, describing Peller as kind-hearted and expressing sadness that things had reached that point.
She added that the current priority is Peller’s recovery and emotional wellbeing, not reconciliation. According to her, the separation is meant to create space for healing and clarity, not hostility or silence.
Jarvis also called on supporters to stop using the situation as content for jokes or online attacks, saying such behaviour only deepens the pain for everyone involved. She noted that the ongoing commentary had taken a toll on her emotionally.
Urging a more compassionate response, Jarvis reminded the public that the most important outcome was that no life was lost. She asked people to be grateful that Peller survived the crash and to channel their energy toward positive encouragement.
She concluded by noting that relationships sometimes end not because of hatred, but because both parties need peace, understanding and time to heal.
The appeal follows an incident reported earlier by *Naija News*, in which Peller caused alarm after crashing his car during an Instagram livestream on Sunday. The broadcast, titled “RIP Peller,” showed him driving alone in his newly acquired Mercedes-Benz while visibly emotional and distressed during a phone conversation believed to have involved Jarvis amid breakup rumours.
During the livestream, Peller appeared agitated and made several troubling remarks expressing fear and emotional pain. Moments later, the vehicle was seen swerving off the road and colliding with a stone barrier.
