A new wave of controversy has hit the household of Nollywood star Femi Adebayo, after a heated confrontation erupted on social media between his wife, Iyana Aladuke, and fellow actress Olatoun Olanrewaju.
The dispute, which has sparked wide reactions online, centers on claims and counterclaims about the root of the tension within the Adebayo family.
Aladuke, in a series of emotional posts, accused Olanrewaju of double-dealing and betrayal, alleging that while the actress appeared to support their family publicly, she was privately contributing to the collapse of her marriage.
According to her, a supposed friendly post shared by Olanrewaju preceded a major breakdown in the home.
“The betrayal is painful,” Aladuke wrote. “You praised us publicly, yet behind the scenes you were tearing everything apart. Ten days after that post, my home fell apart. You were like a sister—someone meant to uplift me, not destroy me.”
Olanrewaju, however, fired back swiftly, distancing herself from any wrongdoing. She insisted she had nothing to do with the marital crisis, arguing that Aladuke was unfairly shifting blame.
“Hey Iyanaladuke, your downfall isn’t my doing,” she responded. “If I’m guilty of anything, I’ll own it—but this isn’t on me.”
In another post, she accused Aladuke of longstanding harassment and of manipulating public opinion.
“I’ve tolerated your disrespect for too long,” she said. “You ruined your marriage by yourself. Stop this psychological game on social media. You need help.”
Their confrontation has revived public interest in the couple’s months-long marital tension. Observers recall a recent period when Femi and Aladuke unfollowed each other on Instagram, raising concerns about the state of their relationship.
